Process

Web design is a creative process and as such requires close collaboration between you and your team and us. Here is a basic outline to give you an idea of how we get from start to finish in the web development process.

Step 1:

Initial consultation. This consultation is always free. It gives each of us the opportunity to learn about each other and to brainstorm your ideas for your website. From this meeting we’ll develop an initial proposal.  Contact us today for your free consultation.

Step 2:

Proposal Submission. Our goal with proposals is to create something that works for both parties. However, we are aware that we sometimes misinterpret ideas and goals, so it is expected that we will need to adjust the requirements and details of the project before we have a final proposal.

Step 3:

Discovery Phase. Upon acceptance of our proposal we will provide you with a Web Development Questionnaire. This questionnaire covers everything from look and feel, to colors, logo, and even competitive research. Through this questionnaire we will develop our initial layout concepts and ideas for your web site.

Step 4:

Layout Review. We will develop and present our layout ideas for your consideration. Our expectation is that you will critique the layouts and provide valuable feedback to help us refine and tweak a final layout that matches your vision for your website.

Step 5:

Layout Approval. Upon your approval of a final website layout we will complete any other elements that may have been purchased as well.

We are never finished with your web site until you are completely satisfied.

Here’s a diagram of what we like to call our “Design & Refine” process.  It shows how we go from our Initial consultation in Step 1 way beyond Step 5 into the support phase and 100% customer approval dimension!
